GUESTS, INTERNS & OVERNIGHT STAYS
B&B farm stays Camping Day trips Wildlife viewing Overnight Horse boarding Horseback Riding
Visitors are welcomed to the ranch with advance notice. We love to have people visit and see the animals, as well as enjoy our million dollar view and secluded location tucked into the Beaverhead National Forest. We can offer Bed & Breakfast farm style accommodations, or a nice private place next to the creek to camp for folks who would like to spend a day working or visiting a working ranch, hiking or horseback riding in the National Forest, bird and wildlife watching, cross-country skiing, (downhill deep powder skiing is nearby in the winter) or enjoying any of the other the numerous outdoor activities that the Salmon, Idaho area has to offer (www.salmonidaho.com). We have something to offer in any season, as the photos below will show you. Lewis & Clark slept here, now so can you!
We can also provide overnight horse-boarding if you want to bring your own horse for trail riding or are just passing through. We adjoin both BLM and National Forest and have unlimited miles of wilderness to ride in right from the ranch. We also permit a limited number of elk and deer hunters to camp on the ranch property for exclusive access to the National Forest (no hunting on the ranch itself).
Interns and volunteers are always needed! Cone for a few hours, a few days , or a few weeks. Even if you have no experience I can find something that you can help me do. Collect eggs, milk a goat, groom a horse, butcher a chicken, beautify the surroundings...there's always some project that I haven't quite gotten to yet and there are some things that require 2 people or are just plain more fun to do with others around. Longer term interns are unpaid but will receive free room and board, and a wealth of experience and memories.
