MADELINE & EWE LAMB
Madeline is a 2 yo registered 67% Wenslydale large white ewe with wonderfully lustrous, curly, long wool akin to Mohair. Her black ewe lamb was born on March 21, 2008 and was sired by a 100% Finnish Landrace (Finn) ram. I expect the lamb to be both prolific and to possess fantastic fine to medium wool with good curl and length and lustrous handle, much like Mohair. Both are excellent choices for a fiber herd or choose Madeline for a Wenslydale upbreeding program.
Madeline $500
Ewe Lamb $300
WHOOPIE & RAM LAMB
Whoopie is a registered 62% Black Wenslydale (and Lincoln ) 4 yo ewe with a refined face and slightly smaller build than Madeline. She is a good producer and mother and her shiny, lustrous black wool possesses many shades of silvering. It's a wonderfully complex color. Her ram lamb is 50% Finnish-Landrace , a breed known for it's tremendous prolificacy and high quality wool. This lamb has terrific conformation and tightly curled hair . He might make a fine sire for a high producing fiber flock.

Wenslydale
long wool ewe and is the daughter of Whoopie (pictured above) (she carries the black factor) Valentine lambed her first time on March 20th with gorgeous twins sired by a purebred
Finn (Finnish Landrace)
ram. Valentine is a nice milky ewe. These white lambs have very tightly curled fleece so far and nice correct conformation. The ram lamb has more dark pigmented skin and looks more like a Wenslydale while the ewe is a little more Finn-like in her face. Both lambs should have the Finn prolificacy and Wenslydale-like wool.

MOORIT EWE LAMB
This very well made moorit ewe lamb (twins) was born on March 25, 2008 to Brunhilda, a large and tall leadersheep black Icelandic ewe. She was sired by Vidarr , our heavily built Grey Moorit ram. Brunhilda is a wonderful and protective mother who is very milky and who produces large, fast growing and long wooled lambs. This lamb should produce a heavy amount of fine quality dual coated wool with a well-balanced blend of tog and thel and she carries superb udder genetics and milkability. This is one ewe to build a herd around.
Ewe Lamb NFS- Sorry, I have decided to keep this one.
MOORIT EWE LAMBS
These two twin moorit ewe lambs were born on March 31, 2008 to Thokka, a moorit colored Icelandic ewe and sired by Vidarr (pictured at right)our heavily built Grey Moorit ram. Thokka produces dense and well balanced lovely fleece, as does Vidarr who produces more of the soft thel. These lambs were bred for fiber quality should produce heavy amount of very high quality dual coated wool with a superb blend of tog and thel.
